Hi,
I'm a student of Mrs. Bernice's, and I just want to say what a wonderful, inspiring person she is. I am a Senior and I took her art class because I've always been interested, but never pursued it. Now that I am in the class I have a whole new perspective about art, and the world around me. She doesn't just teach my class, she has opened my eyes to things I've never thought of. This Global Rivers Art project is a wonderful idea. I knew about the bottling companies, and how we intoxicate our waters, but I didn't know anything could be done. I'm so glad to know there are people who are truly concerned, and I plan on following in their footsteps. Even if they are small !! I have a steel water bottle to carry around now! Thank You Mrs. Bernice!

Hey! My name is McKayla DeRidder and I am one of Mrs. Bernice’s art students. I had never really thought about the rivers until my first time in class. I want to be just as passionate about the issue as my teacher. I can honeslty say that this issues scares me because if we do not fix this problem, over time we will not have water for SMIPLE things!!! I believe our class at Martin Methodist College can reach out to others and show the importance of this growing problem!! I am very happy that we have people like this to show the world what is happening!! THANK YOU

Autumn, the day to day choices you make in support of maintaining our public water supply, ie. using a steel water bottle instead of plastic pre-packaged water bottles, really makes a difference. This is a grassroots movement and you are part of making a change in consciousness! Thank you for your enthusiasm.

Hello, my name is Autumn Corbin and I am one of Mrs. Bernice's art students. I wish I could be as passionate about this project as Mrs. Bernice. I actually haven't even thought about the river water until she opened up my eyes to this issue. Once we started discussing this during class, I really got to thinking about how this is a huge issue that will affect the world not to long from now. When I think about my grand kids it makes me even more scared for what is going to happen. If we had to fight for clean drinking water, we wouldn't know what to do in today's society. If something is not done about this, we WILL have to fight for water just to drink, bathe, and other daily things with! SAVE THE RIVERS!!!!!

Some amazing artwork, some are even better than I could produce! The global art exchange aimed at using art to educate people all over the world about the preciousness of our rivers and waterways is a wonderful idea. I'm excited to see where this goes.
